J & A Beare Cultural Trust

Nurturing the future of classical music

Our independent charity supports over 100 young musicians with weekly coaching and performance opportunities. A core group of 60 are also provided with specialist chamber music training. Students supported by the Trust receive instrument loans, private lessons and public masterclasses
from world-leading artists.

Our Mission

Our work grants young string musicians the opportunity to have specialist teaching beyond their main curricular programmes. With access to world-renowned artists through Beare’s network, we aim to support young string musicians to fully realise their potential in classical music through our focus on community, excellence and inspiration.

Our Vision

That the next generation of string musicians might grow to inspire those that follow them.
